I am looking at buying a 47 amp power supply to run my RM Italy KL-503 as a base amp. The particular supply I am interested in puts out 12.4 volts is this OK vs. 13.8 volts. Is there any significant difference between a volt and a half?
Don't look at it as just "a volt and a half"; think in percentages. Most "12 volt" equipment is actually spec'd at 13.8, which is almost 10% higher than the supply.
