Two questions; does anyone have the wiring code for a Cherokee-1000 C.B.,i mean the actual radio mic plug pin functions,also i would like to know the VR pot numbers for power and modulaation on the Galaxy 2547? TNX. Warlock35po.

The Microphone Wiring for the CBS-1000, Eagle Tomahawk and Magnum 257 are the same:
Pin 1: Mic Audio
Pin 2: Receive
Pin 3: Transmit
Pin 4: Down (up w 22K Ohm Resistor)
Pin 5: Ground
Pin 6: +13.8 VDC
CAREFUL! Some of these units such as the Magnum have + 13.8 VDC on Pin 6. With no current limiting, of course. This means you get a screwdriver in there or your pointy knife and short that lead and some critical part of your radio goes up in smoke right quick like...
