Well, If you put a jar in the closet and put your spare change or put a little money at a time in there, you can get a Wilson 5000 and some other time maybe a AMP, i know peolple that do this because of the budget they have, and you would be surprised how fat it will add up and you can have the setup you wish!!!! Take care and i hope you setup does a great job!

Cobra's are good radios. Just be careful about which model you buy. I suggest sticking with the Classic series. Cobra has had a lot of problems with their ST (sound tracker) models. In fact, they are discontinuing every ST model except the 29 NWWXST. You may want to look at the new Cobra 29NW LTD Classic. Pretty cool radio. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Best. I have to agree with Rolling all the way. The Wilson antennas are definately a little more expensive but worth it. After all, the antenna system is the biggest part of a good radio setup. Give me a call and I'll help you out any way I can.

I have a Bronco II and am looking at purchasing a new raddio for it.

Here is what I am thinking of:

For a radio I am going to use a Cobra 29_wx_nw_st

and for an antenna I'm going to use a Firestik II 4 foot antenna.

Kit # FS4-64a8a

Let me know what you think.

Thanks
