Hi, new here, I just got a polamar blue lighting 250 and it doesn't say if it's HD or LD. Don't how many watts to put in it or if it will work for SSB. Maybe it's something I should have left alone? Any help is appreciated.

Pop the top and take a few photos and post them. There are more than enough qualified people here to tell you everything you need to know about it with a few good photos of the inside. A good place to start with a radio would be around 1.5 watts dead key and 12-15 watts of swing from the radio. Doesn't matter if amp is a HD or LD. Also it's hard to tell if it's able to be used for ssb as some of the palomar amps use an auto ssb delay. Otherwise popping the top and seeing what's inside is your best bet IMO.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
