Weak/stubborn qt40 output

My qt40 works great. As well as you’d want. Until you look at the rf meter. Mic gain is up in the menu. All the knobs are all the way up. If I whistle I hit 40w but talking I hover around 8-10 if I’m loud. The tx reports are great as far as quality goes.

How/where can I crank the audio up??? It’s killing me!!

What mode?
 
ssb does not read full power unless you do a constant steady noise/tone, it may read full power on voice peaks, do a search on google, plenty of posts about it and why, and only a good meter will show it.
