What an Amateur

Funny thing (or sad thing really) is that there is no amateur gear in that video. The only recognizable radio has Ch 33 on the display. They could at least put in a Kenwood or a Yaesu or even an old Hallicrafters.

Someone should let them know that is a CB and not a ham radio...and send them a pic of a ham radio for them to correct their error

believe it or not there are people that get paid to locate errors like this and inform the various companies so they can correct the mistake

Actually they get paid to avoid things like that in the first place. It is called continuity and is why you are not supposed to see a 1951 Ford in a movie set in 1946. The problem in this case is nobody knows nor cares about what is really amateur radio. Ever see a news story about neighbors complaining about a hams towers and antennas while showing cellular towers or broadcast towers? It is called "I don't know and am too lazy to be bothered to learn".

They ( Kraft/Velveeta ) have a Facebook page.... They know, here is a Quote from the page regarding the commercial:

Congratulations.
You just insulted 700 000 + American Amateur radio operators.

Your new tv-commercial, supposed to referring to "amateur radio" is featuring a CB radio.
To "ham" operators that have earned their license that is flat out an insult.

If you have a Facebook page just go over and let them know how you feel about the commercial.
