WHATS THE POINT re, QT40

People like to poop on the QT40 but for like $149 they are diamonds in the rough! Perfect? Nope! Darn good though.

If the people in the know actualy applied themselves to this radio it could be great but their is no money in it for them so no attention. Probably good that they do not or it would be like the Redneck Fantasy radio the Sryker 955 and be a $700 radio after modifications!LOL What did Phineas Taylor Barnum say about a fool and his money???

I personally, think the QT-40 is an amazing radio for what it is. It makes me think of what it would have been like to have it 40 years ago. I would have had one installed iny flying car like the Jetsons.

Mine has no audio. Quite maddening. Techs no help.

If it's the Radioddity version (the QT-40) and you bought it new, then it is covered by a warranty. Send it back and get another one. They are not really repairable.....it's essentially a computer/SDR in a CB case!
From all I've heard it's a fantastic radio and I've heard very few complaints about them. Sorry you got a dud!
