Only one radio and antenna? Hmm...

If it has to be a CB radio then I'd go with a Tram D-201, otherwise it would have to be an FT 101.

Uniden grant xl radio. My Maco 105 H/V. If your talking about not running power I would agree with the 2970N2 simply for the extra watts. My Galaxy 95T works great on SSB also. And then there is the lincoln.

too much money to be limited to just am mode . now the rci 69ffc4 [ssb[ thats
a whole anoither story. i just dont know anyone that has one or tried one
havent seen any reviews yet either .so with a radio with not mnuch info
and no reviews i cant recommend it or the 63 until i see some reviws
and users making positive claims about it

I had not even heard of the SSB version.....yep that would be much better.
