I'm trying to find a duplexer that will work on 1.2 Ghz and 440Mhz, but not having much luck. If I have to, I'll use a 1.2/440/2m triplexer, but I'm sure that would be more expensive. Does anyone know where to find something like this?

Excuse this Ham/newbie thought...
Aren't there schematics that will work for your freq needs?
It is a LC circuit - right?
So, that should/could be a lot cheaper than to buy one.

Well, all they really are is a couple of band pass filters...one for each frequency. So yes, it shouldn't be all that difficult to build, with one exception. The higher you go in frequency, the less tolerance you have for deviation from whatever the design specs are. I'm thinking it would just be too much trouble to homebrew one for 1.2Ghz, but maybe I'm wrong?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
