Your better off contacting one of the above shops and see if they can get the radio you want. This way it gets converted, tuned, and shipped once and your done.

Just got it !!!!

Got my 257 in today.

I have so many people to thank ...... for way to much to list right now. I will compose a proper thread later.

Been a long day, been burning fuel since 6:30 am. Ready for a few cans of my meds now
( BUD LIGHT ) and a shower. But I have to admit the 257 has me excited.

I have learned so much, and I'M just getting started.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
