Who wants to host an Echolink Net?

Got on EL a few minutes ago and talked to a Ham on a repeater near Venice, Italy for a trial run for ten minutes.

I can be on the KB9KRI machine from work, 15:30 to 00:00 central time.

Only WX9MCS-L is available from the nodes you quoted. Looks like both repeater links have been removed or are turned off at the moment

ok no contact as yet, it is now 2100 sydney time, maybe we need to organize something In UTC that is better for your local time. me being ignorant of your time zone did not realize that 20:00 syd time was not the best. I think that all on Echolink should post there node numbers or call signs for linking

Good evening, could i get some help with echolink on my pc.
i just installed it i did a validation. how do i find stations or nets to join in? everything seems to be highlighted in grey ( cant click on it).

You did a validation, as in you got the confirmation email from echolink?

My list is all in green test. I just double click one and I connect. I'm on Vista too.

Sounds like either the validation isn't complete (account not yet approved), or you may need to re-install it.
