i need some input on what kind to get for my ts440s/at and
my ic-740.i would like to keep it somewhat short as i'm kinda
limited w/mounting options<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=""> . i may be able to stretch between my two towers or from one tower over to a tall tree.only problem w/the towers is they're only 22' apart and appr. about 25' above the rooftop(to the top of towers).
the towers are almost dead-on w/north and south inline.
there is a roof inbetween the towers, thus limiting my install
to an extent.there is a tree to the SSE of the southern most
tower.so,i have a tree at southern-most part,40'-50' to the NNW is the (south)tower, then 22' (or so) to the (north)tower,
then about 18' to the northern most end of the house(gable end),which also is NNE of the north tower!this is a one story
ranch house BTW. ALSO,both towers are guy-wired at 3-points approx 5' from the top of each and tied-off to rooftop.
i was thinking i could run one leg (horizontal)from tower at the south,to the tree and go up the tree w/the other leg(vertical) and the feedline would be at the bottom of tree.(maybe up 10'-20' from bottom actually)
oh yea, from the tree to the nearest tower,it is appr.40'-50'.
i cannot tie-off to anything to the west of towers,as there is a small lake behind the towers and house!
also.nothing to tie-off to at the north of towers except the gable end of the house.BUT,i also have my guy wires from the north tower tied-off to the rooftop at that point? interference problems maybe?
anyways,i appreciate any thoughts y'all might have!
confused?me too!only way i could think of showing my
layout and possible wire ant configuration! sorry, but thanks!!
