Wireless headsets?

Thinking about trying one of these on my kenwood 820s. Any one use any of the wireless sets?

Yea I figured they would be a little tinny. I thought it would be nice though to turn the vox on and dx while grilling a steak!

Well I have a radio shack wireless lapel mic and a set of RCA Wireless headphones hooked up to the ole kenwood 820 and so far have gotten good reports. Pretty neat setup actually. I should have thought of this way earlier. I did however have to hook up my low pass filter right after my amp to avoid rf disagreeing with the mic and headphone receivers.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
