I am trying to wire up a workman super star silver salute mic to a 4 pin cobra but cant get any info on this mic tried wireing it like a d104 but cant get any rx but will get tx any help on this thanks

Have you had the bottom off yet??That might give some in site as to what wire goes where. Post up a pic may help too.
should be:
pin 1 shield and blue
pin 2 white
pin 3 red
pin 4 black
if it has no receive check your continuity with a meter on pins 1 and 4, you should have continuity then open circuit when you key the mic, if not pull the bottom cover off the mic and check it there (continuity on wires blue and black)and see if you have a switch problem or cord problem
