Anyone know the spec on the worlds best noise floor performance on a receiver?

Measured how? In degrees Kelvin?

I hear the receivers used for radio astronomy at Arecibo have cryogenically-cooled front ends, and that they get down to single digits in that department.

As for a communications receiver, no.

Haven't been to too many places quiet enough to really matter to me. Gotta get away from town a ways before the sky gets really dark at night. Radio seems to be the same way. Noise levels in town tend to be high.

I wasn't supposed to say that because it's not out yet, but will be soon.

And it's not per minute, it's just minute, as in air time.

As in five dirt-bag minutes.

I just wanted to talk about radio though...

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
