WAS happier than a dog with two tails for $ saved after buying a radio from Coper (with tune /align). Joy was short-lived after finding that the radio needed additional bench work to retune/ realign. When looking to buy an RCI 2950DX, I decided to follow advice by forum members to spend the extra $, and buy the radio from other merchants. After reading good reports about Bell’s CB Radio in Florida, I surrendered to spend the 30 more $ they ask for the same radio. Just left a generic message. Bell’s called back promptly and MATCHED the lower price from Coper. The Customer Service Rep and the Tech were pleasant. So, with a lower price AND a good customer service rep to deal with, my RCI 2950DX is in line to be shipped on the 28th from Bells. Don’t know if they match prices on all radios, but I was assured they will match Coper's price on the RCI 2950DX. I asked them not to remove the ALC, but instead to adjust the modulation pot & the ssb ALC for max swing. Once I get the radio, I will follow up this thread and give my impression regarding its performance. Consider calling these folks before you buy your next radio.
