Was the residual 10 tons, or is that an estimate of it's pre entry weight?

I've watched smoke trails from the Perseids showers in 94, but never that.

I'm guessing the 10 tons is upon reentry. BTW those meteorites fetch a pretty high price on the market depending on the origin of them.
