WTB Broken Gainmaster

Hi.

yes, those are challenging restrictions. a couple ideas i have seen done are a dipole in the attic or under the eaves or hanging in a tree if one is around which I think would be best. The tree mounted one might need raised and lowered on the day radio is played. The success for your installation remains to be seen and limitations may occur. When conditions are in your favor though, it goes great.

One thing to note is that the gainmaster has a coaxial RF choke which could be an attention grabber. It would be interesting to see how a gainmaster would work mounted in an attic or under eaves as the instructions recommend a minimum of 3 meters above the roof and as far as possible from walls, power lines and other antennas. Once again, a tree mount would be best but there is the elephant in the room(the choke)! lol

Best of luck in your search.

Looking for a used or broken sirio gainmaster. Just need the guts really to string up in a tree for a friend who lives in an area with antenna restrictions.
Incredibly easy to make if you have some coax lying around. plenty of how too's around. and strung up in a tree would be ideal. (assuming that's why your after the guts of one)

Made mine around 10+ yrs ago. used to take it away on holidays with me. The Roach pole is completely optional as is the foam pipe lagging as the former but it's lite
