Just get a new one and have a good tech tune and align it. Might be a bit more expensive but look around at the truck stops if you have any nearby, they sometimes have them on sale for good prices. And with a new one you know no one has had thier hands in it messing about which seems to happen quite often!! JMHO. Goof techs are
