Spent 2 days searching for a service manual. This is the plain FT-1000. Not the "D" or the "MP". Down loaded 2 viruses while I was at it. Glad a had good protection.

Anyone seen a PDF on this rig?
Guy that owns it had a lightning strike. Took out a lot of his stuff. Everything on the 1000 works but the recieve is way down. TX is fine.
Any direction appreciated.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
