I recall being able to get the radio to rx 40mhz after Modding the circuit. This was several years ago. The only mods done were extraction of one resistor and fixing the power button. Advice ? Input ? Opinions?

The FT-50R was an interesting radio for mods as there were several variations to the mods and to the radio that resulted in different TX/RX ranges. I don't recall one that worked at that low of a frequency range, though. I actually just looked up some of my info and didn't see any mods that would do 40 Mhz

Alright, thanks. Mole !
