It just started doing this today no warning no unusual things happening basically all other modes work lower side band works just fine as soon as you key down on upper side band it throws out the quick blip and then it says busy and the display flickers and it just kind of goes on and off and on and off and on and off

Any resolve to this?? Just curious? Did you try a CPU reset as stated by w9cll?? And also I heard you say you had some RF feedback, so cheek all coax jumpers and connections.
May not seem like it would take out only one mode, but ya never know!! Hope you get it fixed. Have a good one!!
