Digging up this thread from the dead! I happened to get one of these radios from the Drumlins hamfest this year for $100. It has the GPS, Bluetooth, and voice guide installed in it. Just had to flick off a resistor for the MARS/CAP mod, and I was ready to program it. So far seems decent, though I had to make a stereo>mono adapter for my external speaker, and even then, the audio isn't that loud. I had a $50 gift card for DXEngineering, so I ordered the matching speaker for it, which has a TRS plug on it. This is replacing my FT-8800, which is going to move over to another vehicle. Or maybe I'll stick the Icom 2730A that I won at the RAGS hamfest in the other car.
