Had water in the yard starting about three weeks ago

We had had some heavy rain so I kinda blew it off

Finally decided to take a look

Not sure where you are at, but did you check the freeze line depth for your area? I know here in Tennessee it's like >16", I'm guessing you're farther south because that looks like less than a foot. Just curious.

Yes sir thanks I am by Beaumont Texas east of Houston headed towards Lake Charles

We do have our share of freezes occasionally

Yes sir idk why that was down there it was covered with grass and no indication on the surface. Perhaps it was marked at one time I bought the house in 2002
