I started a new thread here regarding these Loop antennas, so as not to get lost in the first thread that we hijacked.
If anyone wants to talk about ML antennas, this thread is open for discussion.
Here are some links that I had posted in the other thread regarding the antennas for information.

Also, MFJ makes a Tuner that is used with Your own wire loop, there is some good info here as well about the size of loop needed for different bands

[QUOTEYou can operate 3.5 to 29.7 MHz with a full 150 Watts. No ground, radials or counterpoises needed. A 13-ft wire formed into a loop operates 30-20 Meters (4-ft for 17-10M; 7-ft for 20-15M; 28-ft for 40-60M).][/QUOTE]

Magnetic loops can provide excellent results but be aware of the RF exposure around them. Short loops have a much higher level of near field intensities than a dipole.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
