Any suggestions for a mobile radio with a detach front panel that can be used on 11M,
Don't have allot of room for the traditional CB radio, only place is in the center armrest, but have to lean forward to see the display. Very Inconvenient!

You can always "monitor" 11M on your Yaesu 857's, Icom 706's, & Kenwood 480's :D

I never understood why CB's don't offer detachable face technology like ham radios do. I know mostly only truckers use CBs and they have all the room in the world for even the biggest ones....but seriously on these newer more cramped vehicles, a detachable face CB would be a blessing.

I'm grateful my Yaesu FT7900 has this....and being in an S-10 = not much room

You will need a Ham radio or have to look to the EU market to find what you are looking for.

The FT 895 will do what you want, or the Albrecht will work....you can also look for the TCB R-2000 CB radio as seen below.

Tx-ing and being able to operate the controls are the only reasons
I was looking for this option. SSB is a must also. My ftm350 2meter radio
is a perfect example, if only 10/11 meters
