At least it's not the Mexican cartels scaring them into noncompliance. I'd almost pass them off for Mexican law enforcement. Though I suspect that there's too many of the warring militia factions that they're thinking of and their families lives at stake.

Who was it that said "You don't win a war by dying for your country. You win by making the other guy die for his. In this conflict most of the combatants on both sides are foreign nationals Who's the fool !. Sure hope that soldier made it home ok. His rant although heart felt and most likely correct wasn't well thought out.He only inflamed the situation and made himself a candidate for a bullet in the back God forbid.

Typical rant, even to US recruits in basic, tear them down mentally and make them only depend/trust their brothers in arms.

Seems they toned down the vocabulary since I was a recruit some decades ago.
