In all fairness most testers just give you a bunch of numbers, since in the real world we want to use the tubes to help us make contacts wouldn't a tester that directly tests the tubes ability to make contacts be the better tester?
If you really want to know how good those tubes are set your "tester" to 27.025 MHz.
I don't know........I have heard some pretty shitty sounding stations on that frequency. Most of it was from flat-topping from the sounds of it.
