Rick,
It is definitely priced right. I gave $300.00 for a pristine 2000 in 1993. Kind of wish I still had it but there was another pristine Mark lll with the 180 amp that was calling my name. Even swap at the time from the original purchaser- including receipts and boxes. Found out that the Mark lll had a clever mod-as the mode selector on the transmitter was changed out to have a push-pull switch added. When pulled it added 5mmhz crystals to match the receive frequencies to all transmit modes. It also had a sweet, like new 776 mike with it as well as a G stand D104 and the Electro-Voice banana mike. I'm sure it was traded off for something else at the time, I just don't remember what!

Those were the days.

Good luck. Sure it won't last long. Hard to find a 2000 not butchered up!

pics of the inside will sell it faster.
people are scared of what might have been done to them in the past.

I know you said it was bone stock, but the buyer doesn't know whether that means a modded radio was put back to stock or if you have a radio that has never been modded at all.

There is a pretty large difference in the value of each of those examples.

If you show a pic of the solder side of the PLL area, and can show that it hasn't been messed with, your radio instantly becomes worth more.
Show that there are no holes drilled in it anywhere, and it's worth even more.

Love it Undertaker ! I run a 2k and love it ! Always wanted one but mine probably cost me more used than it was new , hey I couldn't afford one back then ! Did he send you pics of the internals ? Outside looks pristine .

I have a Zoo FT 450 D with the mars cap mod. Man to much radio for me . hell I cant understand how to operate most of the functions!!!!

I'm sure Delta 1 is a stand up guy , The people on here are or they usually leave as fast as the come .:)I have to laugh you sound like me as far as Hf radios , I'm afraid I won't be able to figure out how to use except for the on/off switch that's probably the main reason I haven't bought one yet ! Heck I'm still trying to figure out my phone since I up-graded from my flip !:ROFLMAO:73 , Leo
