Hello guys im lookimg for wiring harness for my galaxy dx2547 that runs from the board to the channel selector i have tryed barkett electronics seems they do not have it any info would be great.

kaos513,
I found part number EX07N48967 on CBTricks from a Galaxy DX959 manual as the channel selector to board harness. (I was told that the 2547 is a DX959 with a power supply. I haven't studied the schematics to be sure of that. Perhaps the remains of your old harness can confirm part numbers?)

A google search and an Ebay search turned up nothing using this part number.

Perhaps a Ranger cross for this? Aren't they(Galaxy,Ranger,Connex) all made by Ranger anyway?

Good Luck!

WIRE CONNECTOR/H 10P-10P L=100 PH=2

yeah i believe so but cant find that 10 pin harness

From your description of the "10 pin harness" I think the part description from the 959 manual may be the correct part.

Maybe finding a non-working 959 with a few missing parts for the right price??? On the other hand, since it is only 10 pins, could you make a 10 wire jumper out of 18ga or 20 ga wire? (or suitable like size to what is there already)

Kaos;

Not sure where you wish to go with this but I wanted to post this to help...

Galaxy949PartsListMisc.jpg

Did some searching for the elusive Galaxy Header stuff...

Found the above, and wanted to let you know the list above,

note the Description

- one has a PCB CONNECTOR/S
- another uses PCB CONNECTORS/H

One is the SOCKET for the HEADER - (S)ocket while (H)eader - just so you know.

The L=XXX is the length of the wire loom so it's pretty short.

But - on final approach...
Found this...

Hope this helps!

I did more research its a 10 pin jst harness female on one end and female on the other end
i do not know the size of the connector or the spacing of pins.

An Ebay search for "JST" connectors turns up sockets and pins with 2.5 mm (1/10 in.) spacing, 2mm, 1.5mm and 1.25mm.

Tracking down the 2mm 10-pin socket body and the crimp pins to fit it might be possible, probably a bit labor intensive.

But getting the pins crimped onto the wires will be the labor-intensive part.

I wipped out the old school ruler the pins space is 1mm which i believe is called the pitch, now the body of female connector is like 22 mm wide which i have no idea where i can find that size.
