Hello, I'm currently working on an externally mint Sears CB model 564 however, I'm to the point that a Sams Manual would really come in handy. It's nearly impossible to find one but my question is: "Does this radio share the circuit board with another model either Sears or otherwise? I'd even be open to the idea of using another service manual for a different model that closely resembles this one like the Sears model 934.36740500. If anyone has any information about this radio or if I can use an alternate Sam's manual I'd greatly appreciate any help.

A CB radio with the prefix "564"?

The only reference I can find to that 3-digit prefix in my files on a Sears product is an 8-track tape player.

But not on a CB.

Must really be an orphan.

I checked the Sams master index, and found a "564.3673 0600. It says only "audio" next to the reference, 31 pages photocopy only available

If yours doesn't have that many digits, it's not the same thing. For grins, I looked all through the "564" section of the index, and found not one reference to a Sams specialized "CB" volume. Just TVs, VCRs, car and home stereos.

Thanks So much for looking. I've added some photos in hope of getting more information. It's a really nice rig for what it is. I sure hope to put it back on the air. :)

Yes, They do seem like good radios! I like this one enough to buy another model with SSB. These things are just built well compared to new radios. Besides, I dislike throwing away anything that may be repaired. Good Luck with your roadtalker 40 too. :) 73.
