Read the directions over and over, can't get my "smart" cb in high power. Tried 2 different emails for anytone and no answer yet. Anybody else have one of these?

Are you asking how to do a mod or which buttons to hold down? I looked at these a while back to put in the wife's Mini Countryman since it's our road trip vehicle. I think it was a 3 control process, like hold PTT while powering on and something else... Now you got me considering this radio again. I will let you know if I run across the process if one else posts it first.

If its a best smart cb the itty bitty bugger you push the second button from right or channel selector and hold the mics ptt then turn it on .will show ph or pl.tap the up or down button on mic n select ph shut off n start it again.letter H should show about middle of righ side of screen.if not try again.and on some just push thatbsecond button n turn on,select ph via mic up down button n see if H shows up

which mod did yours have?if you unsoldered op1 only its a 40 channel only cb.if you unsoldered op1 and bridged solder op2 its got like 7 bands.
If 40 channel only it wont go to high power.i had 2 of them and thats what i learned

Just the right size for these newer vehicles that don't have any room for a full size radio.

What model radio is this thread referring to? Both the Anytone 5555, and 6666 have SSB.
