Has anybody got feedback on these antennas? I'm thinking of the ProMaster Sr Base for home and camping or possibly the 6-80 Meter Vertical.
Not much room in the yard for an antenna, no restrictions except the neighbour who have too much time on his hands.

I have the Alpha Promaster Jr. antenna. I've had it up 6 months.Worked 64 countries on various HF bands and 3 states on 6 meters. It took about 45 minutes to install...a real "plug and play" antenna. Extremely pleased with antenna. I'm not affiliated with Alpha antenna in any way. 73 and good luck....K4BAD

Well, I have ordered the ProMaster Sr Base. Hopefully it will be here when I start holidays in just over 3 weeks. if it is then lots of use while camping throughout Alberta and BC.
I'll post up some pictures when I get it.

Binrat,
How did this work out for you? Can you post a review?

Thanks!
Jim
Hi Jim,
I used it for semi-portable (car camping) for 2 years. Set up was a used tripod like what they use for TV dishes on roofs, 7' of 1" conduit and I added 6' of para to each radial. Numerous contacts but I sold it last year. When camping now, I'm hiking uphill to activate a SOTA summit.
Short answer, it might be what you are looking for, for your QTH.

Thanks, binrat.
I have one of those tripods.
Is the system weatherproof enough for permanent use?
And does the vertical handle wind well?
