..."about" 10-12 dead hammer AM is what I set it at. They "will" do 20 without getting too ugly.
You should see every bit of 40 SSB peaks but I don't run them that hard. 25-28 is good enough.

I am lucky enough to own one in an HR2600 that I installed. I did an install in an HR2510 about 17 years ago, but I sold that radio a long time ago.
