Keep trying, it might take me 10 calls to get a contact. Its fading in and out and the sun is going down.

2100 Alabama is my buddy, Joe. Great guy. We can talk ground plane to one another about 4 or 5 S units when the noise level is down. He gets out good from his location as he is on top of a mountain....not like me down in the hole with mountains all around me..hehehe.

Talked with Dave 995 mobile NC ...man we had a pipeline to one another. Talked with Ralph 203 NC and 286 didn't get his personal. I heard Ranch 55 in there from the Lone Star and talked to 33 Free Radio up in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Good DX'in in the last half hour!

I will be sure to call you, 808, when the dx shifts more north east of me. Maybe tomorrow will be better for conditions? I don't know if you heard me in there tonight or not? Those mountain ranges are sure hard to get over using a ground plane omni. Once I get my "cloud burner" 5 element back up on the flat side, it won't be a problem. I assure you
