The Taiwan ROC and Malaysia rigs were great radios but too many have fallen prey to the golden screwdrivers and many now because of age are falling to old parts failing
And thats always an issue with the good older radios. I make sellers take inside pics top and bottom if there aren't any.I don’t even mind the old and failing parts...but finding radios that haven’t been hacked is another story.

Think it's back to ebay in search of a good vintage base CB. So much for the modern technology.

Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned |
