HR 2510 on e bay

Can't blame the seller for trying to make some cash. There just may be someone out there that will pay that price. Not me though.

That's pretty crazy. I mean, there are usually a few on there at half that price, sometimes less. I've even seen one on there with the Chipswitch for half that price, iirc.

... Is someone dumb enough to pay that price?
If I had one to sell and there was someone out there willing to pay that price, I'd list for that number. Heck, why settle for him and reach higher for the $850 buyer. Doesn't cost the seller any difference no matter what the list price. Of course, all the buyer has to do upon reception (or not) is state that the item is not as described and get his money back + radio. Hi! Hi!

That is a clean board, the first thing you have to do is preventive maintenance on the radio.
If you want it to live long you have to get rid of the Sonybond glue that is going to cause problems, and recap it because its 30 + years old.
And the rest of the radio is 30 + years old.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the 2510/2600/uniden clone radios.
I must be getting old and cheap.

It is clean. I told him about the glue and he's going to get it out of there. A recap will probably be on the new owner if it sells.
