11 meter is very quiet?

I am usually listening on 38 in the morning between 5:30 and 6:00 local time. I hear a couple of people talking in the distance right now, can hardly pull them out. I keep listening for the grey line propagation from Europe while also checking .555 periodically, haven't heard it in a long time.

Listening to 38lsb right now, omg so ridiculous. Its EXACTLY like am. Everyone just says cqdx, waving the hand, qrt. No qsy for a qso. Just hey sounding loud over here waving the hand im qrt. Hahaha, thats am shit right there. So next time you sidebanders say the am guys are dumb, just listen to 38. Its the same damn thing. I miss .415 - .555 usb, those were the days. Quiet up there now

Thank God I heard someone else mention this. Frankly I don't know why half the people are on the radio any more. All they want to do is 'wave a hand' and say 73's. No one even asks me for my first personal or to QSL anymore, never mind having a QSO of more than 1 minute. I miss the old days. I guess I'm becoming one of those old farts.

Fairly good skip this morning. Mainly Florida and states to the SW. Another QSO with 123#1952 Oliver in Bermuda.

Then I heard 1183 RI Leo on the radio. Talked to him some but conditions were not so good.

That's all folks from possibly the most cluttered radio station around. Cleanup is in order. Way too many jumpers, wires, switches, etc. Somethings gonna blow beneath the ammo.
