copper tubing be easier to grind or even conduit. copper tubing has many sizes to get that right fit.
cut it then bore hole through the tube at top n slide a phillips screwdriver in for traction

Well that tool is close, maybe modify it? I still think it’s worth buying cause you’ll use it somewhere else.

thats a doohicky tool used to adjust the thingamajigger mounted on the gizmo that runs the doodlewobbler that processes the fine tune on the whackerbill

That just popped into my head, I watched a lot of that annoying cartoon with my little girl when she was 3 and 4.

Nothing can process the fine tune.

Copper is real soft, not sure the tabs would be strong enough to tighten without sheering off.
We used to make copper gaskets in steam service at the plant and it softer that you would think.
