.475 would be my choice for a site call freq. Much quieter than the regular 40..

I will start calling in the afternoons after work on .475 LSB from the pickup. Might also holler from the base over the weekend.

local rag chew on 475. we got several north cali reports last nite. we all shared the band nobody was hoggin it up.was a friendly meet n greet night. too bad the 11 meter area cant be nice like that

I was on 475 for a 1/2 hr - 0 contacts went to 405 for 1/2 hr - 1 contact with England NO WDX contacts - back on 475 LSB for now.

Not a bad idea but the bleedover can be rough at times.
