11 meter is very quiet?

I call them contesters with no contest keeping in practice! LOL. I heard Kuwait yesterday on 28.5??, he was pretty busy. I at least like to exchange working condition and such. I think I irritate some when I go into that and dont just give them a call sign and 59 report. I will also do the 59 deal if I need them. I think its funny when they have to go back and forth 6+ times to get a call sign right and then say your 59!!!! WTF!!!!

It was 9K2ES, yes around that frequency, but about 3 weeks ago. I thought it was pretty cool that he could hear me reasonably well (with some QSB) while I was only using 5 Watt. Most people down there seem to be using 1KW or more.

Last night around midnight CET I heard him on 40 meters, didn't bother to give him a shout, I just listened. He was busy back then as well.

Sounds good. I should be around most of the weekend. If all goes as planned, I'll have the Sirio 2016 in the air by then. There's a lot of you guys I haven't talked to since last winter.

Yesterday conditions were pretty good, I had a chance to make some brief contacts throughout the day while I worked on some things in the garage. I monitored the garage station and when it got good I would hop over and get some dx action. Maybe that's why it took me all day to do a 3 hour job

I'll be on throughout the day again so hopefully it's good and just maybe make contact with a wwdx member.

I haven't had much time for dx this weekend. Part of it was getting my new antenna installed, and other things that came up. It seems like the weekend flew by!!

I did get on the radio for a few minutes to try out the new antenna and it was a train wreck!! So I knew exactly where to go.. 27.555 USB, I called out to QSY elsewhere and was answered by a forum member. @c316buckeye heard me and we had a nice qso. Thank you sir for the radio check.You were sounding top shelf on your station.

LSB38 was a disaster this afternoon. I ventured around and made a few contacts on other channels. Does any of you hear that "kid" (got to be) that just blows on a kazoo or duck call, which ever it is?
