I thought you might like a follow up on the radio repair. Open B+ winding in transformer, got lucky with the small wire broken at the large wire that exits, successfully repaired. 1 leaky electrolytic in power supply, replaced all of them. Paper caps replaced. Found 1 open resistor and 3 resistors that had changed values way out of tolerance, a gassy 6AQ5 tube, and an IF transformer with grid winding having the internal SM capacitor open. Replaced with an external capacitor. Someone also tried to mod the S/RF meter switch so the S meter would work in RF position and I restored that back to factory wiring. I put too many hours in this one but I was determined to fix it.
