We need a radio captcha.

A picture of a radio, an amp, a manual tuner, a balun, a dipole etc, and a little game called connect it right if you want to become a member here.

Maybe other random questions that only an actual CB user would know, like what pisses CBers off more; two two two, one one one, truck truck truck, or trash trash trash. CrapGPT went with D.

What else would AI bots suck at? Output that is considered dangerous, violent or illegal is often scripted out, so why not a word problem (with instructions on a separate new members read first page like "when signing up, don't be nice to women that cut coax cables"). And then on the sign up page, a question like; If Susan cuts the coax on Tommys radio, what would be a good way of dealing with the situation? A-forgive Susan and move on, B-[something bad I edited out here], C-Ask Susan why she did it and ask her to replace the damaged coax, D-report it to police and let them handle it. CrapGPT went with C and D.

I'm sure there are members here that can do better. And I am also sure there are members here that could probably create these little challenge pages in HTML or something useful to the admins dealing with this crap.

this is a tough one because pretty much any question that someone or some thing could not just look up on google AI would alienate anyone who was new to CB radio.
It's a balance
You always want to be open to someone who is just trying to understand ( insert radio service) and is looking for advice or someone who has radio experience and wants to post up something that might be useful for the group.

It happens, it seems to come in waves.
They want somebody, anybody to click on the links.

It's not going to go away anytime soon unfortunately.
We appreciate you guys for keeping us informed about flakey stuff and bad fishies.
We will do our best to displace the unwanted tenants.
(Gary must have been up at 2 am this morning)
