Greg I'm curious what you mean by "background for my station". Are you making CB YouTube videos? Or do you just mean for room decoration?I want to try to collect about 4 or 5 pristine Plus Three Bs to use as a background for my station.
Man for a classic of it's age, that's a really clean one. A keeper for whoever ends up owning it.A little more digging and found this one. About as good as it gets. Has a few very minor scuffs. In the box with all the original paperwork, wired 4 pin cobra.
Like to get like $200

My radio faces a corner on my bench. so, I'd like to line both walls with nice turners. I currently have a SSK, A Plus Three and two Plus Three Bs. I use a Plus Three B so I'd like to end up replacing the SSX and regular Pluss three with Bs. I also need a new reed pile for one of the Bs. It's the three contact with the nylon spacer in it. Can't find one of those, either.Greg I'm curious what you mean by "background for my station". Are you making CB YouTube videos? Or do you just mean for room decoration?
The background for my station is an ugly wall with some QSL cards and other important pieces of radio-related paper tacked to it LOL!
Not to rain on your parade but as you put it, you want 4-5 "pristine" Plus 3 B mics. You will easily be in the $800-1000 range for those mics. If you bargain hard in a year you might find 4 and be in the $600-700 range. The days of $75 minty mics are gone. Good luck all the same. That's a sweet piece right there. A bit more than I can comfortably go, though. I would make an offer but I don't want to insult you. Social Security, you know?
