Following this with interest. Can you share the information you provided the Xtal provider in PRC that got you in spec crystals please. As some have said, sending a working one to a Xtal manufacturer has advantages however not always possible, so keen to know what specs were provided to them that gave you your excellent resulting Xtals.
Do the Xtal manufacturer have a website? did you have a minimum order. Keen to know if its a route to keeping this as original as possible.

12kHz is a stretch. It may work, but the capacitance required will be very small. You will probably need a 1-10pF trimmer and it may become a theramin if the capacitance required is in the lower half of that.I saw that, but I'm not sure if they can pull 12+Khz. If you think so, I will try.

What about opening the can and replacing the bad leg?
The 02a chassis used here in the states are based on the 10.0525 loop mixing xtal so the xtals you mentioned would be way to high in frequency to use here.If you fellas are struggling for crystals, can you use the later Cybernet export ones? 20.105Mhz for FCC band for instance. These crystals are readily available here in the UK as a set: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2842096928...pid=5336136228&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1 and copy the switching circuit from the export manual (switched with 9v) then you can also have a course (TX/RX) and fine tune (RX) options. If you can make your own PCB's it's easy, just copy the PTOS011AOX or PTOS012AOX board. I did a lot of that back in the 80's.
For extra channels there's microchipz.net (again UK based) and they sell pic chip type boards to get 120+ channels from the 02A with one crystal, take out the PLL and put it in the board then solder the board into where PLL was.
Just my thoughts.
