I finally made my first ever contact to South Africa this morning. I made a very quick contact with Steve Needlbender 124. Last night it was a couple of contacts to Hawaii. Pretty quite otherwise.

Edit,1:05 pm the northwest corner is making a lot of noise down south of the Alamo.

I finally made my first ever contact to South Africa this morning

Congratulations! That's a great contact! It's been hit and miss out here on the west coast, but thanks to a tip from DXMan, I did snag 271DA/0 from the Republic of Nauru a couple of nights ago, and we've had several strong openings to the southeast U.S. recently. Right now I have Florida - Texas - Gulf Coast stations coming in pretty well on 38.

Moving to 385
