The good thing about using resonant lenght of coaxial is that the coaxial will not be part of the antenna ( will be invisible) when using an antenna analizer. ( like if you had the antenna analizer directly attached at the antenna feed point).

Good to see one Classic antenna like that. I had the bigger one , the Super Magnum. That was my first CB antenna way back 1989. I rescued it from an abandoned building. By that time I had a VW Beetle. I had to struggle to fit it inside the VW because of the radials .
