Hi I have found no voltage at pin 16 of pll and ic5 has 6 volts at pin 6 so i think the ic5 is working im still to track down the missing voltage some other component has failed any ideas Thanks joe

Gday This is the transistor i pulled its a toshiba 2sb753 checked it with dvm and its working im guessing it just a bad cap finding it is a different story i was thinking of an esr meter so i can test them all in circuit Thanks joe

Hi Pin 15 16 of the pll (ic2)voltages show 5 volts at first and then drop to 3.5 volts like its unstable it seems like theres an issue there Thanks joe

Gday I do hear a tiny pop when i power on but no volume even at max,squelch is set to minimum checked mic with multimeter and its switching checked pa with external speaker no audio,no tx light,checked cb/pa switch and it working,when i key the mic theres nothing like its not even there tried...

Gday Not much glue was used in this radio just a bit around the caps i replaced no corrosion anywhere in the radio i think maybe caps that have degraded in storage just a guess

Gday I have a dvm,freq counter several radios watt meter dummy load what i dont have is an esr meter to test caps incircut without replacing all caps and no oscilloscope but im willing to get one any suggestions! Thanks joe
