    Radio New Zealand International

I've really been digging this station. It's on 17.675 MHz. A very eclectic mix of music, news, and talk. Most of which you haven't heard before. It's all in English of course, which is a big plus for radio listening among Americans. I get it real good in the Mojave Desert at night.

    This thing is awesome!

I remember these select a tenna's from back in the early seventies. I live in the Mojave Desert, and it's difficult to get some of the LA AM radio stations especially indoors. I listen to quite a bit of college football on the radio during the season. At night I can get Utah and New Mexico and...

What electronics have YOU fixed lately?

A Peavey KB-400 amp head/mixer. A large box fan. Courier Classic IV CB radio. 9:1 balun for an end fed halfwave antenna.

    Mobile Antenna ideas needed !

These are kind of nice too. I didn't realize you were willing to put a rack on so I didn't mention it before. https://realtruck.com/b/backrack/v/ford/f150/2021/

    Mobile Antenna ideas needed !

Try this. They’re expensive these days. Used to be about a hundred bucks when aluminum bodies first came out. In my opinion it’s the best looking, best functional location, no damage to the vehicle option...

Kenwood TS440S Too high voltage in VCO 5 (7.8v versus 5v)

This is fascinating to follow. I've just been lurking around. I'm not really able to grasp all this, but I'm learning a little bit. Congratulations on your progress ghetto! And thank you for being super patient Brandon! This is one of the reasons I hang around Worldwide DX.

Antron 99 mounted off the side of my tower?

I know you said you don't want to get into it, but I just wouldn't do that at all. And if you absolutely have to I'm not so sure half a wavelength is even going to help.

    KB9VBR Antenna

It's not for me it's for a friend in our radio club.

    KB9VBR Antenna

Has anybody used the KB9VBR copper J poles? Specifically the 2 m/ 440? If so what do you think of them? Any issues? Any positives?

Sark 100 antenna analyzer test frequency

Does the wattage matter? I have some small resistors I could use, but they're only like quarter watt.

Sark 100 antenna analyzer test frequency

How did you build the calibration loads? I would like to do this myself.

New requirements for License holders ?

But how are they going to enforce that? Meaning whenever I remember to change the address with them, that's the week I moved.

Sark 100 antenna analyzer test frequency

Good question. I haven't used mine on a single frequency yet. I'm scanning different bands on the antennas I have. In fact I never actually calibrated mine. I attached a 50 ohm dummy load to see what the SARK100 said the ohms were. Then I measured the dummy load with my multimeter, and they were...

    SARK 100 issue

What you sent here on worldwide DX works fine. Everything else I could find online elsewhere does not. So you should hang on to those files because they don't seem to be available anywhere else. Thanks again!
