I finally made my first ever contact to South Africa this morning. I made a very quick contact with Steve Needlbender 124. Last night it was a couple of contacts to Hawaii. Pretty quite otherwise. Edit,1:05 pm the northwest corner is making a lot of noise down south of the Alamo.

I made a couple of contacts to Hawaii about the same time....then I made contacts to FT Worth and then to a mobile just north of Dallas on 36LSB.

The dx has been active late in the evening here in south Texas. Friday i made contacts to many parts of the northeast, Midwest and southeast plus Hawaii and Australia. Saturday it was short dx to Alabama, Oklahoma and Louisiana. I even talked to Dallas. Yesterday it was not very active.

I have had some skip conditions, I have talked to 505 in Bermuda 2 days in a row with a s7 signal on AM. A few contacts to Jamaica, Hawaii and Australia later in the day on sideband. But, just a few stateside contacts and they were quickly in and out. 28 AM and 17 AM have been real quite. Not...

DX is starting to roll into South Texas from the northeast 330 pm. I made contacts up to New York and Massachusetts. Saw this car at the fundraiser car show. It had a wilson magnetic mount antenna with a cobra radio.

I don't recall the numbers of the guy in the Virgin Islands. I will definitely try next time I hear someone from there.

Unit 68 was who I talked with last night on 38lsb from here around San Antonio. I was hoping to hear 828! It is not very often I hear from that part of Texas. The shortest in state skip talk I have made was to Dallas.
