DX is starting to roll into South Texas from the northeast 330 pm. I made contacts up to New York and Massachusetts. Saw this car at the fundraiser car show. It had a wilson magnetic mount antenna with a cobra radio.

Unit 68 was who I talked with last night on 38lsb from here around San Antonio. I was hoping to hear 828! It is not very often I hear from that part of Texas. The shortest in state skip talk I have made was to Dallas.

The DX was on fire yesterday evening in south Texas. I called a few times looking for WDX members , but didn't find any. I made quite a few contacts on AM and SSB. I had a pipeline to Virginia and the Carolinas.

How do you like the 2016 so far? I plan on getting mine soon. Looking at getting the antenna at about 20 feet to the feed point. I would have got one already, but money is tight trying to get all the materials for my cabin. I have been using an inverted v at 22 feet with good results.

I heard 399 telling someone about the 82 degrees and puffy clouds down in Columbia, then 010 in Hawaii had the show. I made contacts on AM to south Florida and to southern California from south Texas this evening.
